Resident Evil 3 Remake with facial animations cranked up 500% is exactly what we need to get us through 2020
My Resident Evil nightmares aren't fueled by zombies, they're sustained by the mental image of Carlos' cheek muscles flailing in the wind until they break through his own face.
But perhaps, in a time of turmoil like the one we are currently living through, this is exactly what we need. With the recent release of Resident Evil 3 Remake, Capcom may have shown it can improve the graphics of its decades-old game. However, it's modder DPO23 who achieves the real 2020 dream: burning it all down.
A new video from DPO23 shows off the nightmarish, hideous, incredible, hilarious results of a hack which allows users to crank up the facial movement in Resident Evil 3 Remake by 500%. This is part of an ongoing project from the Youtuber, which sees game animation stretched to their extremes - from Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls to Uncharted and Resident Evil 2.
Look upon his work and despair. And if that puts you in the mood for Resi, check out our review of Resident Evil 3 Remake.
