West of Dead open beta live on Xbox One and Steam

The West of Dead open beta is once again available for PC on Steam and Xbox One.

Twin-stick shooter West of Dead, starring Ron Perlman as William Mason, is back in open beta on PC and Xbox One.

This is the third open beta to be held on Xbox One as the first went live in November when the game was announced at X19. This is the second time it has been made available for Steam users on PC.

The beta will run through April 13, and as with the last beta, the developers recommend PC users play with a gamepad.

Actor Ron Pearlman lends his voice in the game to a dead man in Purgatory, whose only memory is that of a figure in black.

The game features procedurally generated areas where you will dodge and shoot as you make your way through the underworld.

West of Dead will be released on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass this spring.
