Stardew Valley's creator is already working on another free content update
Stardew Valley is four years old this week and indie developer ConcernedApe is celebrating with the announcement of a new free content update.
Update 1.5 is currently in the works, indie dev Eric Barone wrote on his Twitter account. And while he has yet to reveal exactly what is in store, you can expect the free content update to be quite hefty if Update 1.4 is anything to go by.
Update 1.4 introduced a new end-game mystery involving Stardew Valley’s ever-mysterious abandoned building, new ways of interacting with your spouse, fish ponds, a big multiplayer-friendly map and gameplay improvements.
Earlier this month Barone revealed he is working on two new games set within the Stardew Valley universe, but it won't be a farming game. One of the two untitled games will have 32×32 pixel tiles and will have twice the detail of Stardew Valley, as well as better music, narrative and sound design, according to Barone. The second title is smaller in scope, so we’re likely to see it first.
Stardew Valley has sold over 10 million copies worldwide since it was released in February 2016.
