Battlefield 5 gets new map, the Bazooka and more in February with Chapter 6
The Pacific theatre of WW2 continues on in Battlefield 5's next chapter.
DICE just dropped the trailer for the sixth chapter of Battlefield 5's Tides of War post-launch content plan. Into the Jungle builds on the recently released Pacific content, and kicks off with update 6.0 on Thursday, February 6.
Chapter 6 launches with the new Solomon Islands map, a close-quarters affair from the design team behind BF1's Argonne Forest. Solomon Islands is available on Conquest and Breakthrough.
Chapter 6 will also see the release of new weapons, including the Type 11 LMG for Support and M2 Carbine for Assault. The M1A1 Bazooka rocket launcher will also - finally - make its way into the game, alongside the delayed Shitotsubakurai Lunge Mine.
DICE will be introducing three new Elite skins over the course of Chapter 6, one of which - Misaki Yamashiro - can be unlocked by reaching rank 40 before the chapter ends.
