Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster
Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate later this month on January 28.
The character was announced today during a special Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintenedo Direct by the game's director, Masahiro Sakurai.
Both versions of Byleth will be playable, with a unique ranged playstyle and direction-based weapons.
The Garreg Mach Monastery stage and 11 new music tracks from the Fire Emblem series will also be coming to the game later this month.
All of this new content will be available to players who own the Fighters Pass, or alternatively, you can purchase Challenger Pack 5 separately for $5.99 or your regional equivalent.
In addition to Byleth’s reveal, new details were announced about the Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which will include six more fighters currently under development. It will run you $29.99 and each release contains one new fighter, one stage, and multiple music tracks.
Those who purchase Fighters Pass Vol. 2 will also receive an exclusive costume for Mii Swordfighter, the Ancient Soldier Gear from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, available in-game starting January 28.
Also announced were new costumes for Mii fighter, coming on January 28. They are based on Assassin's Creed, Cuphead, Mega Man, and Rabbids. Each costume will run you $0.75 apiece or the regional equivalent.
