Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gets 1v1 Gunfight, 5v5 Shipment playlists

Infinity Ward added a couple of new playlists to Modern Warfare for players looking for some variety this week.

As we've come to expect every week, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has received a new playlist update that refreshes the main mode list. These playlist updates are server-side, so you don't have to worry about downloads.

This week's refresh added a 1v1 version of the popular Gunfight mode. Traditional 2v2 Gunfight remains, but it's no longer being highlighted on the main multiplayer landing page.

The dedicated Shipment 24/7 playlist is back, replacing Shoot House 24/7. However, this particular playlist is only meant for 5v5, as opposed to the typical 6v6. This could be Infinity Ward's attempt to lessen the effect of terrible spawns in Shipment, as bigger spawn logic tweaks will likely take time.

Finally, Gun Game has also returned, taking the place of Grind in a dedicated playlist.

Later this week, we're expecting a new Modern Warfare update. Multiplayer co-design director Joe Cecot said it brings a lot of fixes, and should roll out at some point this week.
