Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order nearly claimed the week's top spot in UK charts
Sales of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order got a nice boost last week, enough to land it at number two.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order lost out on the top spot by just 3,000 units, allowing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to claim the top spot in last week's charts. The UK charts, tracked by GfK, only take into account physical sales, so the picture may be different in the digital sphere.
It's not unusual for a Call of Duty game to claim the top spot, of course, having traded places with FIFA over the years. FIFA typically occupies the spot below, but things are different this year.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order now sits at number two, likely as a result of the impending release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Star Wars is on the mind lately, so it's easy to see why Fallen Order saw a 30% boost in sales during the week.
Elsewhere in the charts, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe landed at number four thanks to a Switch bundle. Read on below for the top ten.
