It looks like the Bayonetta and Vanquish PC remasters are coming to Xbox One
The PC ports of Vanquish and Bayonetta are seemingly making their way to console.
Update: It looks like it may not just be Vanquish on its way to Xbox One. Some time after the publication of this story, True Achievements spotted another store page, this time for Bayonetta.
Like Vanquish, this remaster also appears to be based on the PC version, with 4K enhancements for Xbox One X. The two games have the same February 18 release date, and both will even be available as part of the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle - though prices aren't yet available for any of them.
You can read the original story below.
Original story: PlatinumGames' shooter-action hybrid Vanquish laid dormant for years until Sega decided to finally bring it to PC in 2017.
The PC version launched with a number of visual upgrades, and support for 4K resolution. It wasn't quite the remaster fans were hoping for, but it brought the game to a platform it somehow missed all those years.
Now, the same upgraded version is seemingly on its way to Xbox One. A Vanquish page recently popped up on the Microsoft Store, listed for Xbox One with a release date of February 18. And, as you may have guessed, it's also enhanced with 4K/60fps support on Xbox One X.
And if there was any doubt, the screenshots in the same page are identical to those released prior to the PC version's launch.
It's worth noting that the Xbox 360 version of Vanquish has been available on Xbox One through backwards compatibility since early 2018, only it was not enhanced for Xbox One X and didn't receive specific upgrades, beyond what was achievable through the difference in power between these consoles.
If the game is indeed on its way to Xbox One, it's not hard to imagine PS4 getting the same version as well.
