Commandos 2 and Praetorians remasters dated, getting closed betas

Commandos 2 is getting an HD Remaster and you can participate in an upcoming closed beta.

Kalypso Media has announced closed betas and a release date for both Commandos 2 - HD Remaster and Praetorians HD - Remaster.

Both titles can be purchased individually or as a special discounted double pack. If you pre-order either from the Kalypso Store, you will be granted access to the closed betas for PC starting December 13.

The betas will feature revamped tutorials, high definition polish, and access to each game's campaign missions and skirmish maps.

The Praetorians - HD Remaster beta includes the game's multiplayer mode. Further bug fixes and improvements for both betas will come in the following weeks.

In July 2018, Kalypso announced it had purchased the rights to the Commandos IP, along with the Imperial Glory and Praetorians franchises.

Each title will be released on PC January 24 through the Kalypso Store and Steam. Both titles will also be released for PS4 and Xbox One in spring 2020.

Commands 2 will also be released for Nintendo Switch, Mac and Linux in spring 2020.
