Roblox hits 100 million active monthly users
Roblox is absolutely massive - even bigger than Minecraft.
Roblox, a platform where users can create and share their own games, has hit over 100 million unique monthly users, according to Eurogamer.
As they point out, that makes the game officially bigger than Minecraft, which has about 90 million monthly players (although it's worth noting that Roblox is free-to-play, whereas Minecraft has sold over 170 million copies.)
The two games have a lot in common, which is how Roblox ended up on our list of games to play if you're a fan of Minecraft.
Roblox, which is available on PC, mobile and Xbox One, allows users to build their own games using Roblox Studio. It also has elements of an MMO, as many players can come together to play and build.
The game came to Xbox One back in 2015, and it has been quietly expanding in the background for a decade now.
There are more than 50 million player-made 'experiences' in Roblox, which can be downloaded and played by users. Evidently, a lot of players are not creating and uploading their own stuff.
