Street Fighter 5 is getting E. Honda, Poison and Lucia this weekend
Capcom has responded to a Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition leak by making the details official.
As we head into fighting game tournament EVO 2019 this weekend, the rate of fighting game leaks is bound to ramp up. Street Fighter is no stranger to leaks, and earlier this week, Steam ruined a big surprise Capcom had in store for fans.
Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition is getting three characters in one go. Those being E. Honda, Poison and Lucia (Final Fight). Shortly after the leak, Capcom decided to officially announce the news, confirming that all three will be available beginning this Sunday, August 4.
Each of the three will be available for purchase a la carte on Sunday, but Capcom is also selling a Summer 2019 Character Bundle that includes all three, as well as their default colours (3-10) and battle costumes. The bundle will be available on Monday, August 5 - though prices for any of the new content have yet to be revealed.
This is good news for fans. After months of radio silence, Capcom promised big news in August, and it has delivered. Don't expect Street Fighter 6 at EVO this weekend, though.
