Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice mod lets you skip right to the boss fights

Today's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice mod turns the game into a complete boss rush.

Many would argue that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice's limited assortment of boss fights makes every fight special. FromSoftware's latest may not offer these encounters as often as fans have come to expect, but it helps that the majority of bosses in Sekiro are memorable.

And, thanks to Sekiro's unique swordplay mechanics, these encounters feel like elaborate tests of skill and ultimate showdowns all in one. Mod creator thefifthmatt agrees that sometimes, you want to get right to throwing down with everyone's favourite lightning boy Genichiro.

Simply called boss rush, the mod creates a new menu option available at all Sculptor's Idols that lets you jump straight into any boss fight in the game. It removes all cutscenes and dumps you directly into the action, and you're able to repeat any fight as often as you'd like.

The mod also comes with a few other smaller tweaks, such as a shorter homeward animation, disabled tutorials, and a few other light changes that should remove some of the friction you're bound to run into with boss rushes in games.

This is a great tool for those looking to fight bosses they missed as a result of picking one ending over the others, too, so that should save you the time of extra playthroughs if you want to get straight to it.
