Korean shooter Crossfire X is heading to Xbox in 2020
Crossfire is heading west and taking on the X next year.
South Korean developer Smilegate announced free-to-play shooter Crossfire X during tonight's Xbox show. The western twist on Crossfire is landing first on Xbox One in 2020, giving the decade-old FPS a lick of paint and a new crowd.
If you haven't heard of Crossfire before today, get ready to. Smilegate's take on Counter-Strike is huge in Asia, boasting up to 8 million concurrent users and over 650 million total accounts. That's nothing to scoff at.
Alongside announcements for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and a western release for Phantasy Star Online 2, Xbox pushed hard into bringing back the Asian audience tonight.
