Monster Hunter World: Iceborne video introduces the story, riding monsters, and Glavenus' return

A new Monster Hunter World: Iceborne video showing off additional monsters and touching upon the storyline was released today.

Capcom released a trailer today showing off the new world of Velkhana, the land which is featured front and center in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.

Along with a  look at the icy landscape, the video showed a few glimpses of Seliana, the new base and headquarters for investigations and useful facilities.

The video also shows the monsters Velkhana, the new world version of Tigrex, and a Legiana variant called the Shrieking Legiana.

At the end of the trailer though, came the big surprise: Glavenus. The monster made its debut in Monster Hunter Generations.

Along with a look at the story and more monsters, the video showed players riding monsters, which will come in handy when traveling long distances.

Monster Hunter: Iceborne will release worldwide for consoles on September 6. The PC version will release sometime during the “winter” months.
