Kingdom Hearts 3 Final Battle trailer drops a day early
Square Enix has released the Western Final Battle trailer.
Kingdom Hearts 3 director, Tetsuya Nomura, tweeted that the schedule for the game's next trailer had moved up before dropping this meaty morsel for us. At almost four minutes long, the Final Battle trailer is as suitably epic as you'd expect. It was initially planned to drop tomorrow.
The trailer gives fans their first look at Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, and a Ratatouille "cooking-themed" keyblade. It also includes "conversations involving Organization XIII members, and a glimpse at Kairi wielding a keyblade."
For fans of the soundtrack, the trailer features the new theme song, Face My Fears, from Hikaru Utada and Skrillex, and Don't Think Twice.
The adjusted schedule may be related to last week's leaks that resulted from Xbox One copies of the game making their way into the hands of players a month ahead of the title's launch.
While gameplay videos are being taken down pretty swiftly, Nomura has asked fans not to share them.
He also provided reassurances that the game's "biggest spoilers" - the epilogue and secret movie - haven't made it out there, saying they're "planned to be released at a later date just in case."
Kindgom Hearts 3 will be available on PS4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019.
