Weapon camos and custom games are coming to Black Ops 4 Blackout
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout players have two major features to look forward to.
Treyarch has announced that the often requested addition of weapon camos in Black Ops 4's Blackout mode, is on the way. Though a specific date of release wasn't provided, the developer said it'll be available with the next update.
When it launches, weapon camos earned in multiplayer, Zombies and those acquired through the Black Market will all be available for use in Blackout. This will be done through a new armory menu.
Another big addition coming soon to Blackout is custom games. At launch, custom games will only support 12 players per session, though Treyarch hopes to increase this number going forward.
The ability to launch a custom game with Blackout rules is very useful, as it'll help players explore the map at a more relaxed pace, try out different tactics, or simply have a bit of fun away from the main mode. Custom games support solos, duos, and quads.
The feature will also allow players to use weapon camos, and any character customisation they have for Blackout characters.
Just a couple of days ago, Blackout was enhanced with the addition of Close Quarters Frenzy, a more action-focused variant where circle times are faster, and weapon choices are limited to CQC.
