Red Dead Redemption 2 retains top spot at UK retail, has the biggest second week in 2018
The strong momentum of Red Dead Redemption 2 at UK retail continues in the game's second week on sale.
Red Dead Redemption 2, which topped the UK charts at release, despite failing to topple FIFA 19's record, has continued its dominance for a second week running.
According to tracker GFK, the game sold more copies in its second week than any other game at the same point in 2018. Red Dead Redemption 2 saw a 51% drop in sales during the week, which is still better than most games - especially FIFA 19.
There hasn't been a lot of movement in the charts that week, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, FIFA 19, and Forza Horizon 4 holding their respective spots from the previous week.
Diablo 3: Eternal Collection, which launched during the same week on Nintendo Switch, landed at number 15 in the charts. Surprisingly, Football Manager 19, a PC-exclusive game, charted higher, at number nine.
