Hearthstone’s next expansion Rastakhan’s Rumble out December 4
Hearthstone: Rastakhan’s Rumble will be released next month and it comes with 135 new cards and new mechanics.
Hearthstone players will enter the Gurubashi Arena in the next expansion, Rastakhan’s Rumble.
Slim details and the expansion's name leaked earlier, but more information was announced during the BlizzCon 2018 opening ceremony.
According to the lore, one every generation, the troll tribes of Azeroth participate in a "no-holds-barred smackdown" at the request of King Rastakhan.
Nine teams will be formed and led by Legendary Troll Champions representing each Hearthstone class. The Loa, ancient spirits worshipped by the trolls, can be used as Legendary minions. Players call upon the Spirits to aid them. These are a new class-specific minion with effects that "synergize with the Loa."
One of the new mechanics is Overkill, and it rewards players when they dole out excess damage to enemy minions. And there's also a new single-player experience called Rumble Run.
Rastakhan’s Rumble card packs will be winnable in Hearthstone’s Arena mode, and players can purchase them with in-game gold or real money at the same prices as Hearthstone’s other card packs.
Starting today and up until the expansion is released, Rastakhan’s Rumble card packs can be pre-purchased in two different bundle options.
There's the 17-pack Challenger’s Bundle which comes with the Ready to Rumble card back, and the 50-pack Rumble Bundle with a new playable Shaman Hero, King Rastakhan. These bundles are available for $19.99 and $49.99, respectively.
More details on Hearthstone: Rastakhan’s Rumble will be shared in the weeks leading up to release.
