You may get banned from playing Soulcalibur 6 online if you jump in with one of those created characters
Your horny or otherwise inappropriate custom Soulcalibur 6 characters may get you banned if you take them online.
It's no secret that Soulcalibur 6's character creator (Create a Soul) is pretty advanced. It's been used to create replicas of some of the most popular characters like Thanos, Link, Ciri and many more.
But, with a bit of creative re-purposing of props, it can also be responsible for giving Lizardman an enormous penis and other such pleasantries. Of course, these characters can also be taken online, and some already have.
Bandai Namco, however, is taking action. On the official Japanese website, there's a notice specifically about these sort of NSFW creations.
In it, the publisher warns that taking your creation online could get you banned from online play altogether. The notice was spotted by @Flying_Wonkey (via Event Hubs).
Here's what the Google-translated version reads, "If you create a character against public order and morals in character creation and do online matchups, we may suspend the use of other online restrictions and other restrictions."
There have been no such warnings in the West, but Namco's stance is likely the same for the different regions, especially considering the game's rating doesn't allow for anything mature.
Still, you can certainly continue using your custom characters offline and in friendlies. You're also free to check out our Soulcalibur 6 guide for unlockables, where Alex also explains how and when armour matters in Create a Soul characters.
