Anthem livestream from Paris Games Week showed the first mission, Storm and Interceptor Javelin abilities
Bioware showed new Anthem gameplay during a livestream this week, along with a look at ultimate abilities for the Storm and Interceptor Javelins.
Anthem gameplay livestreamed from Paris Games Week yesterday not only showed ultimate abilities for the Storm and Interceptor Javelins, but Bioware also gave viewers a look at the first game mission.
In the mission, called The Lost Archanist, players will be tasked with finding, well, a lost archanist.
We won't go over the details on the mission's story or how it plays out to avoid spoilers. If you wish to be spoiled though, Arekkz goes over it all in his recap of the stream.
The stream also provided a look at some loot, the search mechanic, and Javelin progression.
Another Anthem stream is scheduled for next week and will go over the game's graphics. The Paris Games Week stream showed the game played at lower settings.
You can watch the Anthem livestream from yesterday here through the Your Anthem YouTube Channel. As the uploaders noted, sound issues at the start of the stream caused an echo. Bioware resolved the issue around the 3:37 mark. Might want to skip to the timestamp.
Also, while watching you might notice some gameplay bugs. According to lead producer Mike Gamble, what Bioware streams show are early and sometimes older builds with unfinished content.
Anthem releases February 22 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A demo for folks who pre-order will be made available February 1.
