Techland's Call of Juarez: Gunslinger video takes aim at Red Dead Redemption 2
Techland's Call of Juarez: Gunslinger could be about to make a comeback after some recent activity on its social media pages.
An image of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger with the slogan “legends never die” appeared on the official Facebook page, followed with a video that had a message intended for Red Dead Redemption 2's protagonist, Arthur Morgan.
The video’s blurb reads: "Silas Greaves has something to say to Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang".
In the video, Silas says: "The Old West is full of legends. And you, Arthur Morgan, will soon be one of the greatest, I'm sure, because legends, you know, they never die. They change to come back stronger than ever."
Techland recently reacquired the rights to Call of Juarez: Gunslinger from Ubisoft this year and re-releasing the game on Steam. This tease could be hinting at a remaster of Gunslinger or perhaps we could be getting a new game soon; there hasn’t been a new Call of Suarez game since 2013, after all.
The video can be found on the Techland Youtube pageand on its Facebook and Twitter account. This is the first big update on their Facebook page since 2013, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for more news as it comes.
