Def Jam Recordings could be teasing a new Def Jam: Fight game
Def Jam has been teasing a possible new entry in the series, and the latest is a hypothetical question regarding a location.
The previous Def Jam tease asked Twitter users who they'd like to see on the cover of Def Jam: Vendetta should it make a "comeback."
Yesterday, the official Def Jam Twitter account asked folks which location they would prefer for a new Def Jam: Fight should one come to pass. Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, and Chicago were the choices. Alex about had a heart attack last night when he saw the tweet.
Fans of the series are in a tizzy over the tweets, which seem to point toward a new Def Jam: Fight game in the works.
Obviously, we're not 100% on that, it's just a possibility.
The last core game in the fighting series was 2007's Def Jam: Icon. Like previous entries, such as 2004's Def Jam: Fight for NY, it featured rap stars beating the s**t out of each other. The current list of artists signed with the label isn't comprised of just rappers, though. Imagine a fight between Kanye West and Justin Bieber. Yeah, we'd buy it.
Def Jam: Rapstar was released in 2010, but it was a actual rapping game which required a microphone.
Anyway, if you are a fan of the series, keep an eye on the Def Jam Recordings Twitter account.
