Origin Access Premier service for PC will launch next week

EA has announced its Origin Access Premier service will launch next week.

During EA's call to investors yesterday discussing its Q1 2019 results, company CEO Andrew Wilson announced Origin Access Premier would launch next week on PC.

Origin Access Premier was announced during EA Play 2018 at E3 as a “new tier” of its PC gaming membership. It allows subscribers to play full games such as Battlefield 5, FIFA 19, Madden NFL 19, and Anthem at release or a few days prior.

Subscribers can play over 100 PC titles whenever they like as long as a Premier membership is maintained. This includes titles from other publishers such as Batman: Arkham Asylum, INSIDE, and more.

Origin Access Premier membership, like the standard service, allows users to take 10% off digital purchases.

The standard Origin Access membership, which is being renamed "Basic", will maintain its current standing, and remain $5 a month or $30 yearly price. It seems EA has removed the On the House option from the service, though.

The Origin Access Premier service will run you $14.99 a month or $99.99 per year when it launches on July 30.
