Strange Brigade will have free monthly content and a season pass
Strange Brigade is preparing a brand-new campaign for post-launch, along with regular free updates.
Strange Brigade developer Rebellion may not be interested in the "games as service" model, but it has no problem with regular support and updates. Today, the studio unveiled its plans for post-launch content, which includes both free monthly content and a Season Pass.
The free monthly updates are the biggest mystery so far, with Rebellion promising details are on the way. The Season Pass gets a little more specific.
First off, players can take part in a brand-new campaign released in three chapters: Isle of the Dead, Sunken Kingdom, and Pyramid of Bes. A few brief work-in-progress shots are included in Rebellion's new trailer.
Next, the Season Pass will introduce four new playable characters. You'll get access to the pilot Tessie Caldwell, gold-hunting Patrick 'Bash' Conaghan, demon hunter Anjali Khan, and unyielding survivor Hachiro Shimizu.
Finally, the extra content will include new outfits, weapons, and amulets that boost your in-game abilities.
Strange Brigade launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 28, 2018.
