Spider-Man Comic-Con story trailer shows new take on Silver Sable, final pre-order suit
At the same San Diego Comic-Con panel where Sony, Insomniac, and Marvel unveiled the limited edition Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle, they also showed off a brand-new story trailer.
Although there's a tonne of Spider-Man footage out there, there is still a lot we don't know about the game. The story is evidently chuck full of villains, as seen in the E3 trailer.
This week's trailer introduces Silver Sable, or more accurately, Insomniac's take on her. Sable is an anti-hero - sometimes ally - in the Spiderverse, and here she looks more of an active corporate figure than a mercenary.
Sable's private security company has been hired by Mayor Norman Osborn to keep the peace in the city, and it's going to put Parker right in her crosshairs. There's also a better look at Miles Morales, and playable Mary Jane.
The final reveal of the day is the third pre-order suit for Spidey. Called the Velocity Suit, it's based on an original design by famed designer Adi Granov.
We've previously seen the Spider-Punk suit, and Avengers: Infinity War's Iron Spider.
All three are free to players who pre-order, and each suit in the game comes with certain abilities.
Spider-Man is due out September 7 on PS4.
