Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer reveals what happened to Jade
Ubisoft kicked off its E3 presentation with Beyond Good and Evil 2, and a reintroduction to Jade.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 may be a prequel, but fans still want to hear more about the iconic characters of the original game. The latest trailer did not disappoint on that front, as the crew introduced at last year's E3 have a hostile encounter with the DomZ - seemingly led by Jade herself.
Of course, if Beyond Good and Evil 2 is a prequel, this video raises other questions. Pey'j already seems quite familiar with Jade - so did he and Jade arrive on Hillys sometime after these scene? Will most of the game be a flashback from this point? Did Jade and Pey'j go back in time?
Who knows! For now, Ubisoft is much more interested in focusing on gameplay. The full conference presentation offered clips of melee and space combat, along with promises that specific details would be made available for previews this week. We can't wait.
