Fallout 76 is a prequel 4x the size of Fallout 4
Fallout 76 is set before all other games in the franchise, and challenges you to explore an untamed world.
Ever since Bethesda introduced Fallout 76, we've asked ourselves if it would be a proper Fallout sequel or something more experimental. At Microsoft's E3 2018 event, we did gain some precious details: It's a prequel with the biggest game world any Fallout entry has offered.
Sadly, details on the game remain light, and likely will not be revealed until the Bethesda press event later tonight. That being said, the new trailer certainly nails the spirit of Fallout.
And if Bethesda can follow through with a solid execution that includes immersive gameplay? Then Fallout 76 should be a massive hit. Expect more information to emerge as the week continues.
