Fortnite Week 4 Challenges: how to get XP, V-bucks and Battle Stars
Fortnite's Week 4 Challenges are still live, and they're going to cause some frustration among players.
You're only the clock as well, you have to complete these challenges before the Fortnite Season 5 start date: this Thursday.
By completing challenges players are awarded XP and Battle Stars used to climb the tiers and levels of Fortnite Season 4, which alos unlock v-bucks, skins, emotes and other rewards. Hit tier 100 and you'll unlock the Omega skin.
Complete 4 of the 7 Challenges and you'll earn a bonus 4000 XP. Complete all 7 and you'll unlock the blockbuster challenge, which hands out another 10 Battle Stars once you follow the clues.
A change to trap damage makes one of the challenges harder than normal this week, and there's the return of the tedious task of searching chests in Wailing Woods. You're also required to reach the center of the storm circle three times in a single match, which is sure to cause quite a lot of teeth gnashing.
Fortnite Week 4 Challenges
- Deal damage with Assault Rifles to opponents - 5 stars
- Search chests in Wailing Woods - 5 stars
- Search 7 Ammo Boxes in a single match - 5 stars
-
Visit the center of different storm circles in a single match - 5 stars
-
Search between a Bench, Ice Cream Truck and a Helicopter (Hard) - 10 stars
- Trap Eliminations (Hard) - 10 stars
- Eliminate opponents in Snobby Shores (Hard) - 10 stars
Dish out 1000 points of damage using Assault Rifles, and that includes the new Burst Assault Rifles.
This was a chore in season 3 and it's back again. The problem is there's not a lot of chests in Wailing Woods so it demands at least a couple of trips there to get the seven you need.
Ammo boxes are everywhere and random, but this should be the easiest challenge this week as you always need more ammo.
This one can be tougher than it sounds. We've got a detailed guide on how to visit to the center of three different storm circles right here for you.
The bench, ice cream truck and helicopter are part of the film set in Moisty Mire. Just follow that map in the link.
Traps have been nerfed and now deliver 75 damage instead of 125. That means you can't kill an opponent outright with a single trap anymore. Try and box an opponent into a corner where you've set up the trap, or leave one above an ammo box, chest of other items. But be aware that they'll either need to be already hurt or you'll have to knock some health off them beforehand.
Snobby Shores is this week's killzone. Don't worry, there's plenty of chests and ammo littered around here.
Today also marks the addition of jetpacks to Fortnite for a limited time, which sounds like a lot of fun.
