Overwatch Competitive Play Season 10 begins, Rialto coming tomorrow
The tenth season of Overwatch's Competitive Play has kicked off.
As with every Overwatch Competitive Play season, Season ten is available to all players level 25 or above. To participate, you must first complete ten placement matches that will determine your skill bracket.
Your skill rating will be between one and 5000, and you'll climb up or down the ladder depending on your performance as you play.
At the end of the season, you'll receive a special player icon and spray. If you manage to land in the top 500 in your region and on your platform, you'll get another player icon and animated spray.
The golden weapons return, and you're able to buy these various skins using the Competitive Points (CP) you earn throughout the season.
There are no changes to the format of Competitive Play in Season ten, but the game's most recent hero, Brigitte Lindholm, can now be picked in Competitive.

The new Rialto map will not be part of this early stage of the season. That said, the map will make the jump from the PTR to live servers in an update due for release tomorrow.
At some point later in the season, it will be available to play on in Competitive matches.
Separatly from the main Competitive season, Overwatch's 6v6 Competitive Elimination Season (which kicked off in Season 9) will continue to be live until May 7.
