Monster Hunter World patch 3.02 fixes Kulve Taroth quest bug, Wyvern Ignition elemental attack value
Monster Hunter World has received a new update that fixes Kulve Taroth quest, and Wyvern Ignition weapon bugs.
This Monster Hunter World update will show up as version 3.02 for PS4 players, or 3.0.0.2 for Xbox One players.
It's available now and is pretty small compared to the previous update, version 3.0, which added the Kulve Taroth quest and a host of quality of life improvements.
This is why the first item on the docket with the new update is a fix for a bug that would sometimes occur in the Kulve Taroth Siege quest if you speak to the Admiral in the field while being in another player's instance of A Wound and a Thirst or similar quests.
The bug is very specific that it only triggers if you did the above after collecting Kulve Taroth traces but before speaking to the Admiral back in Astera. If you run into this bug, you should speak to the Admiral at Astera to trigger the cut-scene and start the Siege phase of the quest.
For the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, the patch makes it so the weapon's fire elemental attack value doesn't drop to 240. It's now back at the intended 510.
Finally, the update fixed a bug in the data collection for the stats summaries you get when speaking to the First Wyverian.
