Arma 3 is free to play on Steam this weekend
Military shooter Arma 3 is free to play on Steam this weekend, starting today.
Bohemia Interactive is offering the free play weekend to celebrate the game hitting the over 4 million players mark.
The Free Weekend will end on April 30 at 1pm EDT, 6pm BST. Those who wish to continue playing can take up to 66% off the game and nearly all of its DLC packs.
For even more Arma goodness, previous titles in the series are 80% off.
Arma 3 supports all types of player-created content and modifications through Steam Workshop. The Workshop already hosts over 50,000 publicly shared items, ranging from weapons, vehicles, and uniforms to new gameplay features.
There are also single-player and co-op campaigns available in the workshop, and community-made multiplayer modes such as the original PlayerUnknown's Battle Royale.
Since the initial release of the Alpha version on Steam Early Access in 2013, Arma 3 has received 75 free platform updates and 10 DLC packs.
