Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 coming to Nintendo Switch in May
Both Mega Man Legacy Collections are coming to Nintendo Switch on May 22.
Capcom has announced that the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1, and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 are both releasing on the same day on Nintendo Switch.
Both collections have been available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One for a while, and this is the first either of them will see a release on the Switch. The first Legacy Collection comes with Mega Man 1-6, and includes a Museum Mode with loads of series art, music, unused designs, and much more.
The first collection is also getting amiibo support. Using the regular or golden Mega Man amiibo will unlock fan-made challenges previously only available on the 3DS version.
The Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 comes Mega Man 7 through 10, including all previously released DLCs. Like the first collection, this one also has its own Museum Mode.
Both collections also feature a rewind feature and save states. Capcom revealed that the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 will be available for sale separately on the eShop, priced $15 and $20 respectively.
Capcom is releasing a physical version that includes both, as well as an exclusive Mega Man 30th Anniversary cleaning cloth, for $40. It's only been announced for North America so far, and the included cart only comes with the first collection. You'll get a download code for the second in the box.
Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 will be released May 22 on Nintendo Switch.
