After hours of downtime, Fortnite is left with ADS and building bugs
Fortnite finally came back online last night, but it's been left with a handful of bugs.
The battle royale game went offline at lunchtime GMT yesterday to apply the latest update, adding the Chug Jug and other tweaks.
Unfortunately, a database issue reared its ugly head and caused major downtime with the game offline for around 14 hours.
While the game is back online it's been left with a few bugs that are causing issues, with some players stuck aiming down sights. There's also a problem with the building UI which can highlight a wall but actually build stairs.
Epic has said it's going to fix these problems as soon as it can, so maybe sit tight and use the environment for cover instead of squandering your own resources on something you didn't intend to build.
If you're new to Fortnite we highly recommend it as one of the best free-to-play games on console. So much so that we put together answers to the most asked questions to help you finish in the top five of every game.
We're nice like that.
