This custom-built Star Wars PS4 controller took 70 hours to make, and yes, that is Luke Skywalker's head sticking out of it

Look at this crazy custom-built Star Wars controller. Just look at it.

“Hyper Build #2” is the second collaboration between XQ Gaming and artist Enrico “Berta” Bertagnoli, and features custom lighting and sound effects.

The controller “took around 70+ hours worth of detailed precision handwork”, and is completely hand-painted.

The in-depth making-of video shows the controller in various stages of development, including a couple of hilarious prototypes.

Our favourite is the one with Rey and Kylo Ren’s heads as analogue sticks.

“This controller is not particularly made for any customer,” they said in the description for the video.

“We made it because we wanted to see if we can do it, I think it turned out pretty cool.”

This isn’t the first custom controller Berta’s built. He also made one with a massive Xenomorph head, inspired by Alien Covenant.
