We're getting a look at Metro: Exodus during The Game Awards
We're going to see a bit more of Metro: Exodus, the next game in the popular Russian shooter franchise, during The Game Awards.
Metro: Exodus was announced during E3, but we've seen very little of it since. We know it'll be open-world, with a heavy focus on exploration, but we haven't seen any gameplay footage yet.
That's going to change soon, though, by the sounds of it. A tweet from Geoff Keighley, host of The Game Awards, has confirmed that Metro: Exodus will make an appearance during the televised awards show.
Metro: Exodus will once again cast the player as Artyom, hero of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, on a new journey. There will also be a 'heavily modified steam locomotive' in the game, that you and your hello survivors can journey on, which makes me wonder if the game will feature an extended homage to Snowpiercer.
We're also going to get our first look at people actually playing the desert map in PUBG during the Game Awards, which is neat. Better yet, Kojima and del Toro are both there, so we're hoping for some Death Stranding information.
The Game Awards will air December 7, at 5:30pm PST.
