Metal Gear Survive is out in February
Metal Gear Survive has been given a release date.
Metal Gear Survive, the first Metal Gear game to be made after Hideo Kojima's departure, will be released on February 20 in the US, and February 22 in Europe.
Konami announced the release dates earlier today. The game was initially revealed as a 2017 release, but Konami delayed it back in June.
Curiously, the banner released today only features PS4, and Xbox One logos, which is usually an indication that the PC version won't be arriving day and date with consoles. Konami has confirmed to Eurogamer afterwards that the PC version arrives on the same dates.
Metal Gear Survive is now available to pre-order.
Pre-ordering gets you the Day 1 Survival Bonus Pack, which includes several bonus items. These are four gold-plated weapons (bat, sledgehammer, survival machete, and survival spear), two additional gestures (happy, and thumbs up), four metallic survival scarves (green, blue, pink, and silver), "kabuki" face paint, a Mother Base nameplate, and Boxman "the orange" accessory.
