Destiny 2 Xur update: should you buy The Wardcliff Coil?

Xur is selling one of the best rocket launchers in Destiny 2 this week.

It's called The Wardcliff Coil, and it's the closest thing we have to a Gjallarhorn in Destiny 2. Besides its unique look, Wardcliff Coil fires a volley of rockets that not only have a great-looking effect, but also do great damage.

Compared to almost every other rocket launcher in the game, you'll at least get a bigger - literal - bang for your buck. The blast radius is decent, too, but a bit lower than some of the best rocket launchers out there.

What's more, the Mechanised Autoloader perk means the weapon will be automatically reloaded upon Power Ammo pickup. This is a great perk to have on a Power Weapon, and it makes it all the more destructive.

Like the good ol' Gjallarhorn, you'll be able to make good use of Wardcliff Coil in PvE, and PvP. Definitely one to pick up.
