Call of Duty: WW2 will have a beta on PC
Despite not sharing any details about it, Activision is in fact going to host a PC beta for Call of Duty: WW2.
Neither Activision nor developer Sledgehammer have outright mentioned PC in the recent announcements, and the PC logo is nowhere to be seen in beta trailers.
However, studio head Michael Condrey confirmed that there is going to be a beta on PC. Condrey's answer was "Yes, coming" when one fan asked specifically about the PC beta in a Reddit thread.
It's unlikely the beta will take place this weekend, since it's only happening on PS4. However, Xbox One joins in the weekend after that, and hopefully PC won't be too far behind.
The more likely scenario would be for the PC beta to launch sometime before the game's release in November, separate from the current wave. Until Sledgehammer says something, though, we can't be sure.
The Call of Duty: WW2 reveals are coming in hot from gamescom, with the most recent trailer showing off the impressive social space, Headquarters. It won't be in the beta, unfortunately, but we can definitely see the potential.
The private beta kicks off August 25 on PS4.
