Twitch now lets you filter Overwatch streams by hero and Hearthstone by class or mode

Soon, Twitch users will be able to filter Overwatch streams by hero and Hearthstone streams by Hero class and Game Mode. Soon as in today.

Those who use Twitch and are Overwatch fans can now filter streams by hero using the Overwatch directory.

The Hearthstone directory can be sued to filter streams by Hero class or or Game Mode filter such as Arena or ranked for player streams.

It's all on the user end, so streamers won't have to change any settings or jump through any hoops to be included. Just stream as usual.

Twitch said it's using "computer vision and machine learning technology" to analyze and categorize what is streamed using tech developed by ClipMine.

It's "Deep Learning based video indexing" platform allows Twitch to translate visual information into video metadata automatically.
