Skyrim: Special Edition Steam pre-load available now to original game owners

You can begin downloading the Skyrim remaster now on PC.
Valve has confirmed that it has initiated the process of adding Skyrim: Special Edition to the Steam libraries of those who own the original game and all of its add-ons.
In a post on the Steam forums, a Valve rep said that the process is going slower than anticipated, but promised to have the game added to everyone's accounts within 24 hours. After that, the company will add it in batches for players who complete their collection from now until launch.
You still have time to do that, and the Legendary Edition is not hard to find for decent prices.
Skyrim: Special Edition is out October 28 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
