The game is also included on a demo disc which comes with PSVR in case you want to try before you buy.

Along with releasing for the headset next week on October 13, the new Joint Strike update arrives on October 10 and can be played on Oculus Rift if you have one. It adds co-op, new paint and decals to spruce your space ride up, new Com Alerts, a training area, guide, two new single-player Recall missions, new daily challenges, and some balance fixes.

EVE: Valkyrie launched alongside Rift in March, and the virtual reality space shooter will be released on HTC Vive later this year.

The title was developed using Unreal Engine 4 and it features Katee Sackhoff as leader of the Valkyrie pilots, Rán Kavik.

It will also feature cross-platform play between PSVR, Rift and Vive.
