The Division update 1.4 introduces a preview option for vanity items

You didn't know you wanted it but you definitely needed it.

The Division update 1.4 is going to bring about some much needed changes to the game, mixing up the foundations of the gameplay to create a better experience for players.

We haven't heard about all of the tweaks and fixes by any means, but during the State of the Game stream earlier today, it was revealed that once the update drops, players can preview the vanity items before they buy.

Personally, I think this is bloody brilliant news. There's nothing more infuriating than frittering away money on mystery hats and scarves, trying to create the perfect look for the chilly streets of New York.

It's a small change in the grander scheme of things, but it's a feature that should have been in from the outset so it's great to know that it's on the way.
