Mafia 3 free DLC and story expansions detailed
2K detail post-release content coming to Mafia 3.
The final spit and polish is being added to Mafia 3 and as we approach its release next month, 2K have unveiled their plans for upcoming DLC.
First up is "free recurring content", which means free stuff for everyone. That includes new character outfits, a gold weapons pack 30 days after launch, vehicle customisation, and entry into races that can earn you moolah, more car customisation options, and a bunch of other rewards.
That's by no means the end of the free content, but that's all the tidbits for now.
Three story expansions have also been announced that are available to buy individually or as part of the season pass, Deluxe, and Collector's edition.
"Faster, Baby!" will see Lincoln partner up with Roxy Laveau, an old flame, to take care of a corrupt Sheriff who's been making trouble for Civil Rights activists in New Bordeaux.
"Sign of the Times" has a spookier tone, with Father James asking Lincoln to investigate ritualistic killings.
In "Stones Unturned" Lincoln joins CIA agent John Donovan to settle a blood feud that was born in the jungles of Vietnam.
You can get a feel for the content by perusing the gallery below.
All three story expansions will cost you $39.97 if you opt to buy them separately. If you go for the season pass, the total drops down to $29.99 so if you're interested, it's worth saving $10 and grabbing the season pass.
Mafia 3 is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 7.
