The studio was on-hand at San Diego Comic-Con today to discuss some of details from Season Three. Telltale didn't want to give too much away on the plot. Instead, it plans to reveal more of what's in store for The Walking Dead players later this summer.

Season Three continues the story of the previous two and also serves as a new entry point for those who've yet to catch up. Players starting with this third season will be introduced to AJ, Rebecca's son, and have a chance to learn more on Clementine's backstory.

Players will also get the chance to play as a survivor "fresh to the series," who is currently "struggling to keep his family together in the face of the undead apocalypse."

A teaser for the upcoming season was first shown at E3 2016 last month, and today the team releases the images below featuring Javier and Clementine making their way through a "walker-infested slaughterhouse."

Players will take control of both players in the season, but not necessarily within the same frame of time.

The first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Three is slated to premiere this fall.
