The Division update increases weapon damage in PvP by 20%
The Division servers have been taken offline to implement two new changes, one of which will get PvP players talking.
The Division servers have gone down for maintenance again today. Servers are expected to get back online in the next 30 minutes or so, bringing with them a big change for PvP.
Developer Massive took the servers offline to implement two key changes. The first is an increase to all weapon damage in PvP. This means that players will deal around 20 percent more weapon damage to one another in the Dark Zone.
This does not affect skill damage, only raw weapon damage. The other fix makes it so characters will be automatically killed upon exiting the Dragon’s Nest map area.
This comes just a couple of days after the G36 assault rifle nerf. Hopefully today's changes will be better received.
