Halo 5: Guardians has a major Warzone Firefight update lined up, but 343 Industries isn't just working on maps. There will also be a new boss character to face on the battlefield, along with a shiny new vehicle which takes to the skies.

First up is the new boss, dubbed the Grunt Goblin. This enemy is a giant enemy mech which can be featured as a Legendary or Mythic boss, and is the first character exclusively designed for Warzone and Warzone Firefight. They carry a double-barreled heavy needler that's devastating to vehicles, and a multi-launch needle barrage that targets eight players at once. The good news is you can shoot out its backpack to disable that feature. The bad news is you must do so from a distance - the Goblin has powerful EMP and melee attacks that can disable players or vehicles that get too close. Oh, and have I mentioned it can't be hijacked?

Meanwhile, UNSC forces gain the Wasp, a brand-new vehicle designed for close air support. It features vertical take-off and landing capabilities, and is an ideal quick strike vehicle when moving in and out of engagements. That said, the Wasp's armor is incredibly light so you'll need to avoid heavy weapons (See: the Goblin) which tear through its shields.
