Yves Guillemot keeps hope alive for Beyond Good and Evil 2
Optimists take note - Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot has explicitly stated that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still happening during an E3 interview.

In the interview above, Geoff Keighley uses his final question (around the 3:58 mark) with Guillemot to query about Beyond Good and Evil 2, a game that we've been anticipating for nearly eight years now.
"It's still on the way", Guillemot responses, somewhat cagey. "It's something at one point you will see, yes."
When asked if it'll be coming soon, he responds, "it's difficult to say, actually. Michel is working on it, but he's doing two games at the same time. It's coming along, but he has to spend more time on it so we can see it faster."
The Michel in question is Michel Ancel, who was rumoured to be off the project last year.
In 2009, Michel Ancel told us that the game would be bigger and better than the original. In 2012, he claimed that development of Rayman Legends was slowing things down. Some screens from the game also leaked that year, causing a lot of excitement.
Stranger things have happened - the release of The Last Guardian in October will represent the end of an even longer wait - but at this point we'll believe that Beyond Good and Evil 2 exists once the final credits have rolled.
