Skyrim remaster, Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein 2, and Prey re-reveal rumoured for Bethesda E3 show
Bethesda is reportedly sitting on a number of big announcements for its Sunday show.
Skyrim remaster, Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein 2, and Prey re-reveal rumoured for Bethesda E3 show
Skyrim is due for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to multiple reports from industry insiders. The re-release will bring updated visuals, include all previously released DLC as well as the addition of mod support.
The rumour first popped up online thanks to insider Shinobi602 dropping hints of "a remaster of sorts" on the H.A.M. podcast. Shinobi602 did not explicitly name Skyrim, but Enter the Dragon Punch, another insider and NeoGAF member, later also chimed in saying it is indeed a Skyrim remaster.
Eurogamer corroborated the rumour interdependently, and revealed that we're in for more than a re-release.
According to the site, Bethesda will also reintroduce Prey 2 - in line with earlier rumours, at the show. The game is said be completely different from the one Human Head showed off back in 2011.
Other sequels also to be shown include Wolfenstein 2, presumably the followup to The New Order, as well as The Evil Within 2.
The first gameplay footage for Dishonored 2, will also be shown off, according to the report.
Bethesda's pre-E3 2016 press conference takes place Sunday, June 12.
