These new Warcraft: The Beginning posters show off the main cast
Can you believe it is already April? While some of us wish 2016 would slow down a bit, others are probably encouraging it to move quicker because the Warcraft film hits next month.
If you are one of those counting the days until the film is released, Legendary Pictures has sent over eight new posters featuring some of the main characters.
The posters below feature some of the cast members: Travis Fimmel (Lothar), Paula Patton (Garona), Ruth Negga (Lady Taria), Clancy Brown (Blackhand), Dominic Cooper (King Llane), Toby Kebbell (Durotan), Rob Kazinsky (Orgrim) and Daniel Wu (Gul'dan) in character.
Other cast members not shown in the posters include Ben Foster (Medivh) and Ben Schnetzer (Khadgar).
Directed by Duncan Jones who co-wrote the script with Charles Leavitt, Warcraft: The Beginning is based on the lore created by Blizzard Entertainment for its Warcraft and World of Warcraft games. Studio head Mike Morhaime is also one of the movie's executive producers.
The Warcraft film started production in 2014 but ran into problems starting with the exit of director Sam Raimi who was originally slated to direct. He he left the film citing Blizzard had “mismanaged” the negotiations. Warcraft fan Duncan Jones signed on after Rami left.
Those who live in the UK can head to theaters on May 30 to give Warcraft: The Beginning a watch. If you live in North America, you'll have to wait until June 10.
