Halo 5 Ghosts of Meridian update releases next week, adds two new maps, more
Halo 5's next free update is coming next week.
343 has announced that the April update for Halo 5, is due for release next week. No specific date was provided, but the developer is hosting a livestream on Tuesday to talk more about it.
The updated is called Ghosts of Meridian and it adds two new maps, Tyrant for Arena and Skirmish at Darkstar for Warzone. 343 is calling Darkstar "the most condensed" of all the Warzone maps, with greater focus on infantry gameplay. Darkstar will also feature new bosses.
As you'd expect, Ghosts of Meridian, comes with a number of new REQ cards, armour sets, and more. We saw a glimpse of what's coming last week. Now, the whole list has been revealed.
343 is also making some general improvements to the game with the update, including a number of UI tweaks to the REQ station as well as new Forge features. Weapon balance and matchmaking changes are also being implemented.
The livestream takes place at 3pm on Tuesday, April 5 on the official Halo channel.
